Management
Dr. Bernd Simon
As a business scientist with a habilitation (post-doctoral qualification), Dr. Bernd Simon has been exploring the application of information technology in educational organizations for over 25 years. In 2004, he spun off Knowledge Markets from the Institute for Information Systems and New Media at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien). Since then, he has successfully led EdTech projects for companies in the automotive, telecommunications, healthcare, and education sectors. As an advisor to the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) and the Austrian Ministry of Education, he—together with his team—works on innovative educational projects, such as the nationwide implementation of digital textbooks in Austria.
